Professor Celia Brackenridge OBE

Celia started playing lacrosse at Lady Eleanor Holles school in Hampton, Middlesex. From here, she went on to represent the Southern counties at lacrosse and gained full blues for both lacrosse and cricket during her time at Cambridge University. Celia was selected for the England lacrosse squad for the first time in 1969 and represented England for 13 years until 1982. Following her playing career, she was the national team coach from 1985 to 1986, including the Lacrosse World Cup in the USA.
